Therapeutic Ways : The winter storm is finally over, I say this with fingers crossed, extremely tight. With that being safe, its safe to say that this weather has left our skin in need of much of attention and with our busy skins soaking in a bath right before our day begins sounds dreamy and not so realistic. Here are three easy things you can do before, during and after your shower to provide your skin with some therapy in this harsh weather.

Dry Brushing

Therapeutic Ways : Before getting into the shower, use a gentle dry brush to brush off dead skin cells, be sure to brush your entire body in one direction. Dry bushing has been to improve circulation, reduce cellulite and stress as well, sounds pretty therapeutic to me. It will also make you feel great about your body.

Coconut Oil

Now you’re in the shower, before you use your body wash, lather your entire body in Coconut oil, half a cup should be enough. This will make your feel softer and start to add back some moisture instantaneously. If you don’t feel comfortable lathering on Coconut oil, try mixing it in with your body wash then. Either  way your skin will drink it and thank you with a soft and beautiful after glow. And of course you’re done in the shower, you can mix Coconut oil into your body lotion.

Eucalyptus Leaves

This tip might the shower best tip I’ve ever received, gather a bunch of Eucalyptus leaves and tie them to your shower curtain. As the steam from your shower fills the room, it’ll release the essential oils found in the leaves and the vapor will lightly drip onto the pores of your skin. The scent will also last a long time and help clear out any congestion.
