Happy New Year Folks! Hope you are well rested and recovered from the holiday goodness. I certainly did and had a great time meeting new customers at the South Orange Pop n’ Shop, where we sold A LOT of candles.
In celebration of the New Year and goals, I’ve decided to spruce things up a bit around here. While I do not necessarily have any New Year resolutions, I do want to be more consistent and creative this year. So Feyin officially has a YouTube Channel! The hope is to post new videos every Thursday, that inspire you to invite new cultures into your home and lifestyle by sharing simple DIY tutorials, recipes and design ideas from around the globe. So be sure to subscribe to see all the videos!
And now what you are probably really here is the DIY Cowrie Shell Planter tutorial. The video below is a short and easy tutorial about to make one. Here are the things you will need:
- Ceramic Planter
- Plant of your choice
- Cowrie shells (lots of them!)
- E6000 glue
After you’ve gathered your supplies, start gluing your cowrie shells to your ceramic planter. You may need to glue one half of the planter first then let dry for a few hours before proceeding to the other side. Alternatively you can you a hair dryer to speed up the glue curing process. This is definitely an afternoon project but it’ll be worth it.
If you make one please share it with us using the hashtag #feyindiy! And be sure to subscribe to the Feyin YouTube Channel!
