When I don’t have time to make my own body butters and other potions, I like to use products with ingredients that I can actually pronounce and given my recent vegan trial phase, vegan products are a plus. interior design The point is we should try as much as possible to use products conciously especially when it comes to skincare and our diets. Here are some products that I’ve been using recently.
MeowMeowTweet Bar Soap– The bar soaps are handmade right in Brooklyn. And besides their awesome and sustainable designs for packaging, their bar soaps are vegan approved and all the ingredients are actually in English, meaning I know what they are and have no issues with putting them on my body. interior design My favorite at the moment is the Black Walnut Sage Bar, and it can be used on both on your face and body. You’ll feel squeaky clean after using it and you’ll feel even more confident because you know whats on your body. They kinda sell themselves!
Flo & Theo Wild MintBody Polish– A friend of mine told me about this vegan skincare brand based in Queens and owned by two Nigerian sisters, Ebony and Mayowa. I decided to give their Body Polish a try for the winter and combat dry skin. This polish has done more than just drive away my dry skin, it has a therapeutic effect on me, perhaps it’s the mint that makes me feel calm throughout the day. They also have other products that are affordable as well and yes you can literally pronounce all the ingredients too.
Earth Tu Face Skin Stick– For as long as I can remember I’ve been addicted to using petroleum jelly based balms and apart from the fact it’s not the best for our skin, it also provides no real nutrients for our skin. I found other alternatives but they just made me miss my petroleum jelly balms even more, that was until I found this skin stick by Earth Tu Face. The ingredients ie Non-GMO Vitamin E , are actually beneficial for our skin and my lips don’t miss that petroleum jelly stuff anymore.
These are just a few of my favorite natural skincare products. What are some natural skincare products that you are using? And what do you think about being more conscious in using skincare and beauty products?
